The Salty Sisters Rebrand & Merch Launch Weekend

Let’s just call it what it was — a full-body, heart-bursting, mist-kissed, soul-hugging kinda weekend. One that we’ll be telling stories about for years to come, probably while pulling on a worn-in Salty tee and saying, “Remember Ballycastle?”

From every corner of Ireland, women arrived with muddy boots, open hearts, and zero pretence — ready to swim, hike, hug, howl, and celebrate the next chapter of Salty Sisters.

But this weekend wasn’t just about a rebrand (although we do love our new logo).
It was a reminder of why Salty Sisters exists.

We created this space — not for performance, not for perfection — but for connection.

For women to find each other and to connect with nature.
For strangers to become sisters over sea swims, shared sandwiches, and sunrise hikes.
For deep belly laughter, spontaneous tears, soft encouragement and wild celebration — all to exist in the same breath.

Because life gets loud.
And lonely.
And sometimes we just need to remember that we belong.
To nature.
To each other.
To ourselves.

This past weekend, we launched our brand-new Salty Hike Map, refreshed our much-loved Swim Map, and dropped our very first Salty merch — tees and bandanas that feel like a hug and look like freedom.

Our base for the magic was Stay Lagom in Ballycastle — a space rooted in the Scandinavian art of balance, which aligned perfectly with our Salty philosophy:
not too much, not too little. just enough. Everything in balance.

We swam (shouted, flailed, frolicked) at Ballycastle Beach, hiked Knocklayde like wind-swept goddesses, hot-tubbed, slack-lined, and sauna’d with the incredible Declan from Nichel Coastal We were fed like queens by Thyme & Co and @_poca_pizza_ni,
and toasted the stars with cocktails, Jameson, and joyful chaos.

But the real magic?
The women.
Thirty wild hearts — mothers, daughters, soul-seekers, adventurers — all coming together not to impress, but to be.
To fall back in love with nature, and with themselves.
To find a tribe that doesn’t require them to change or shrink — but expand.

That’s what Salty Sisters is.
A soft place to land, and a wild place to leap from.
A reminder that you’re not alone — not in your joy, your mess, your fear, or your power.
That the sea is always waiting, and so are your sisters.

To everyone who showed up — your courage, humour, and deep kindness made this a weekend for the books.
To our generous hosts and wonderful collaborators — @in.search.of__, @scrimie, @oliver_hegarty , and @johnny_frazer — thank you for catching the magic in every frame.

This is just the beginning.
We’re salty.
We’re sacred.
We’re in it, together.
Here’s to the next wave 💛
